Computer Repairs Perth
PC won't start, Windows crashing, a virus, or a desktop that's slowed to a crawl? DV Computers diagnoses and repairs computers at our Myaree workshop, and has been fixing them for Perth homes and businesses since 2001.
Diagnosis first, then a clear quote
A computer that won't turn on could have a failed power supply, a faulty drive or a motherboard problem, and each of those is a different repair at a different price. We diagnose the actual fault first. A diagnostic fee applies, and once we know what's wrong you get a clear quote. No repair work goes ahead until you approve it.
We've been repairing computers in Perth since 2001. As a Certified Microsoft Refurbisher and an authorised partner for ASUS, HP, Dell and Lenovo, we work across all the major brands, from the family desktop to a business workstation or a custom-built gaming PC.

Desktop & PC Repairs
Won't Turn On
No power, no display, or a PC that starts and then shuts down. We trace it to the power supply, motherboard, memory or drive before quoting.
Overheating & Noisy Fans
Dust build-up, failed fans and dried-out thermal paste that cause shutdowns, slowdowns and noise.
Hard Drive & SSD Problems
Clicking, failing or full drives replaced, with your files moved across. Swapping an old hard drive for an SSD is often the biggest speed boost an older PC can get.
Upgrades
More memory, a faster SSD or a new graphics card, matched to what your computer can actually take.
Gaming & Custom PCs
Crashes under load, overheating and component swaps on gaming and custom-built PCs.
All-in-One Computers
Diagnosis and repair of all-in-one desktops, where the screen and the computer share one case.
Windows Problems & Virus Removal
Not every fault is hardware. Windows can be slowed down, broken or held to ransom by software, and we fix that too:
- Virus and malware removal, including trojans, spyware and ransomware
- Blue screens, crashes and freezes
- Corrupted system files and damaged Windows components
- Driver conflicts after an update or new hardware
- Slow startup, with unnecessary programs and background processes cleared out
- Windows reinstalls when a repair isn't enough
Bring in your desktop or laptop, or ask us about pickup.

Computer Repair Questions
How much does computer repair cost in Perth?
It depends on the fault. Replacing a power supply and repairing a motherboard are very different jobs. Every repair starts with a diagnosis. A diagnostic fee applies, and once we've found the fault you get a clear quote before any repair work begins.
How long does a computer repair take?
It depends on the fault and whether a part is in stock or needs to be ordered. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with your quote and keep you updated if anything changes.
My computer won't turn on. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. A computer that won't power on is one of the most common repairs we see. The cause can be the power supply, memory, a drive or the motherboard, and we find the actual fault before quoting rather than assuming the worst.
Can you remove a virus without losing my files?
In most cases, yes. We remove viruses, malware and spyware and repair the damage they leave behind, keeping your files where possible. If Windows is too badly damaged to repair, we'll talk you through a reinstall before we do anything.
Is it worth repairing an old computer?
Often it is. An SSD or memory upgrade can make an older PC feel quick again for far less than a new one. If a repair doesn't make sense, we'll tell you plainly, and a refurbished replacement or our IT equipment buyback may be the better option.
Which brands do you repair?
All major brands, including Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Microsoft Surface and MSI, as well as custom-built and gaming PCs. We're an authorised partner for ASUS, HP, Dell and Lenovo.
Do you repair laptops and Macs too?
Yes. Laptops have their own laptop repair page, and Macs are covered on our MacBook repair page.
Do you repair computers for businesses?
Yes. We repair computers for local businesses as well as households, and onsite service is available. Call us on (08) 9329-9028 to check availability for your location.
